He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine by The American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Verma is also currently pursuing in fellowship in integrative medicine with AIHM (Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine).
Dr. Verma has been practicing as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist for the last 10 years. His passion for wellness medicine and prevention of disease led to the creation of Lifestyle Physicians in the year of 2015. Dr. Verma is also trained in Obesity medicine and has served over 3000 patients over the last 5 years. Dr. Verma is also a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, American Medical Association, and Virginia Medical Society.
